2016 Mar 24

On March 18, 2016, Kory Schrom of Hudson was one of 129 fourth-year College of Medicine students at Northeast Ohio Medical University to receive notice of their match for a postgraduate residency following graduation in May.

Schrom will complete Medicine-Preliminary residency training at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. All 129 students matched, giving NEOMED a 100 percent match rate for the members of the 2016 College of Medicine graduation class. In total, 52 percent of students will remain in Ohio for their residencies, with 48 percent focusing on primary care.

But first, medicine students must participate in graduation ceremonies, May 21, 2016, to receive their Doctor of Medicine degrees.
